Cancun International Airport is the second busiest airport in Mexico overall, but it ranks first for international traffic, making it the top airport for tourists visiting Mexico. It’s the main gateway to popular destinations like Cancun, Tulum, Playa del Carmen, as well as nearby spots such as Bacalar, Holbox, and Valladolid.

Ferries are available at various locations throughout the Riviera Maya, with different departure points depending on which island you’re heading to. For example, if you’re going to Cozumel, the ferry departs from Playa del Carmen.
